First commissioning of the underground charging station in May 2018

After an intensive development process, the first successful commissioning of the StreetPlug took place in the municipality of Venlo. The inauguration of the first StreetPlug was officially celebrated with the Councillor of Venlo, Ben Aldewereld and the Sustainable Development Policy Advisor of Venlo, Ward Stevens. Two private residents of Venlo were the first to have the opportunity to test the StreetPlug in daily use as a pilot.

The StreetPlug is connected through the home connection of the owner of the charging station and is also publicly accessible.
