The character of the city centre is preserved

The backdrop is the Abdijplein and the Middelburg Provincial House. A prominent feature of the city centre since the 16th century. It is very important to us not to 'pollute' the cityscape with charging stations. We do want to preserve the historic street scene.

We were able to do this by placing six underground loading facilities, no larger than two paving stones per station in front of the Provincial House. Fortunately, the municipality shares our vision. We are proud to have worked together on this.
